WHITE RICE
Basmati rice exporters in India receive high demand for white rice in both short and long grains – as both are needed to prepare different types of recipes. The short grain is sticky and very starchy, making it ideal for sushi, risotto, paella, and stews. On the other hand, long-grain rice, such as basmati, contains less starch, so don’t clump when cooked.
